Independent Glass Company Ltd – Glasgow Installs 3 New Bavelloni Alpa 315/323 N multifunctional CNC machines and a New Forza G water treatment unit. Independent Glass Company Ltd established in 1987 are one of the largest independent toughened glass manufacturers and glass merchants in the UK and are a long standing customer of Bavelloni.

As part of a continual improvement programme to ensure their customers receive glass of the highest quality Independent Glass has invested in 3 new Bavelloni CNC machines. The new CNC machines encompassing the latest technology from Bavelloni ensure that company fulfil their desire to stay ahead of the competition by being different which is what they say is what makes them so successful.

Managing Director Mr John Devine says “I have always been happy with the Bavelloni machines and the excellent service that they provide. We have worked together for many years now and we at Independent Glass look forward to working with Glass Machinery Solutions and Bavelloni in the future”. Independent Glass group now have 10 Bavelloni CNC machines giving them huge processing capacity. A total of 13 Bavelloni machines including bevelling and straight line edging are installed across the Groups sites. All of these machines are covered by Bavelloni service care ensuring that they are maintained to highest standards and any down time is minimised due to the fast response Glass Machinery Solutions offers to its service care customers. Staying with the point about maintenance to further ensure that their new Bavelloni machines are kept to the highest standard Independent Glass have also invested in a FORZA G water treatment unit to keep the water clean that is used for processing. This unit fits in nicely with the companies’ ethics as they strongly believe in caring for the environment and saving a precious commodity such as water.

Toughglaze (UK) Ltd – London installs their second Glaston Bavelloni Syncro Cutting Line Toughglaze (UK) Ltd was formed in 1993 with a Clear Vision: to become the only supplier of Toughened/Laminated glass products that our customers will want to do business with. To achieve this, Toughglaze recognises that they have to be different from their competitors... but they say being different is not enough. Toughglaze are also a long standing customer of Glaston Bavelloni and have several Bavelloni machines installed within their sites including Cutting, Double Edging & CNC machines. Toughglaze have invested in a second Glaston Bavelloni Syncro cutting line to give them even more cutting capacity to keep up with the demands of their very busy factory and order book. Toughglaze invested a large Jumbo cutting line back in 2009/2010 which they say more than doubled their production due to the speed of the machine.
